After the thunderous success of the OSR Star Finder (1.0) app (with more than a million downloads worldwide) a new OSR Star Finder (2.0) app was much expected. The new app uses Unity, a cross-platform game engine. Unity gives the freedom to make animations, 3D effects and other visual aspects even more appealing in the app.

With the OSR Star Finder 2.0 app you can name a star for a special moment in your life. The app allows you to find the exact star that suits your needs. For example, a star that falls within your favorite zodiac sign, or is clearly visible on that one (special) date, or a star that is perfectly visible from the tropical island where you will ask your partner to marry. After finding the 'perfect match' you can register and name that star. With the help of Augmented Reality (AR) you can always easily find your registered star in the sky. Just point the camera of your smartphone to the sky, move it around you and find the right star. In addition to naming a star, users can also send gift packages, request information about stars (and their registered stars) and explore the universe through AR.
