Doula app, global success, time for an update

The Doula app, used by hundreds of thousands of parents in more than 180 countries. We at DTT are quite a bit proud of that. Over the past year, we have been working on a great update to the app. In this article, we explore the latest additions and upgrades to the app.

Doula: A global success

The Doula app is used worldwide and rewarded with thousands of 5-star reviews. This remarkable achievement is testament to the valuable role the app has played in supporting mothers-to-be during one of the most important moments in their lives. The Doula app is available in multiple languages, including Dutch, Arabic, German, English, French, Russian, Spanish and Turkish. Moreover, features such as guidance during contractions, support with breathing, clear charts of contractions and intervals, and the option for users to choose soothing background music to accompany the reliable and friendly coaching voice, have already helped more than hundreds of thousands of expectant mothers.

Carolina van Dorenmalen, a Dutch influencer with a following of 77,600 followers, also shared her views on the Doula app:

Upgrades to the app

With this new update, the Doula app introduces an all-new user interface, making interaction more intuitive and effective. The app now has a silent mode to create calmness during stressful situations. Sharing charts with information on contractions and intervals with your loved ones has also been added as an option. These changes have been added to provide even more value through the Doula app to expectant mothers. A new revenue model has also been brought in, better tailored to users' needs. The 'onboarding' of the app has been revamped and enriched with a 'data-driven' setup, helping us to effectively improve the app in the future with limited resources.
