How do I apply for a job at DTT?

Who can apply for a position at DTT?
Anyone can apply for a position at DTT. We embrace diversity and encourage everyone to apply, also if you do not have a relevant degree but do have relevant experience. Whether you are selected for a position will depend on your competencies and skills. It is also important that you fit in with the rest of the team.
What your application process like?
Step 1: Take the first step
When you have found a vacancy that matched your profile and competences, you can apply by clicking on the 'Apply Now' Button. HR will follow up on your application within three working days.
Step 2: Let's Meet
We really like to meet and get to know you. We will arrange a 30-minute (video)call with HR and tell you some more about working at DTT and will take the time to answer all your questions.
Step 3: The test
At DTT we want to give every candidate an opportunity to work at DTT, no matter what your background is. You will be a part of a professional team. Therefore, we kindly ask you to make a test, which is specially designed for the vacancy you are applying for.
This test gives us insight in your capabilities and at the same time, it gives you some insight into what you can expect when working at DTT. Based on this test we can safely determine whether you and DTT are a good match, so that we are all assured that you will enjoy working at DTT and that you have the basic knowledge needed to start off this internship. Can I apply for a second time at DTT?
We believe that people learn and grow every day. That is why you can apply for a second time. However, we do request that you wait a year to gain additional experience and knowledge before you reapply.
What is working at DTT like?
We have been there for entrepreneurs and game changers since 2010. We create app, game and web solutions for various types of clients, including government agencies, multinationals, healthcare, NGOs, start-ups, investors and SMEs.
We have a young and international team, in which everyone is specialised in a different field. We have an open feedback culture, so we can grow together as professionals. On Fridays the ‘beer fridge’ is opened at 5PM sharp and we always order either pizza or fries. Every 3 to 4 months we have a DTT team social, during which we will visit a restaurant, go a night out in town or a different social activity.
What are the usual working hours
We have a flexible policy surrounding working hours and lunch breaks. We work 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
You can start your day between 08:00 and 09:30 and we end our day between 17:00 and 18:30, this depends on the time on which you started your day. You’ll additionally have a break of 30 to 60 minutes.

What is the difference between an internship or traineeship?
An internship is usually for students who want to gain relevant working experience, most students also have to do an internship for their studies. Our trainees have usually graduated and want to gain more experience in order to become a junior professional. Additionally, the duration of an internship and traineeship differs. The next question provides more specifics
What is the duration of an internship or traineeship?
At DTT, we believe it is important to provide adequate guidance to trainees and interns. We therefore set a minimum duration for internships and traineeships. An internship has a minimum duration of 5 months and a traineeship has a minimum duration of 6 months, but our preference goes out to 12 months.
What is an internship or traineeship like at DTT?

What is the salary of an intern or trainee at DTT?
Regarding the internships, the height of the (competitive) compensation is determined in consultation, important in this situation is the productivity level and experience of the candidate. This can be further determined amongst others via a test or the interview after the test.

Besides that, DTT offers other advantages like free snacks and fruit every day, an office in the city centre of Amsterdam, team socials and every Friday we have drinks with pizza or fries.
Can I get a job after my internship or traineeship?
An internship or traineeship is a strong start for an ambitious career. The majority of employees who currently work at DTT, started their career as interns or trainees. Every year many interns and trainees get a part-time job (next to their study) or a full-time job.
Is it possible to do a graduation internship at DTT?
This is definitely possible. Many interns at DTT write their thesis whilst gaining the required skills to start off their professional career after graduation.
