Your role and responsibilities

At DTT you will work in a young and talented product team consisting of Web, iOS, Android and Unity developers. In two-week sprints, you will work on a variety of projects ranging from cool start-up concepts or business critical solutions to fully-featured social media platforms and PaaS solutions.

As a back-end Developer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Additionally, you will be supporting and supervising the junior back-end developers and You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement API endpoints, database schemas, and integration strategies. Your expertise in back-end technologies will play a crucial role in delivering scalable and secure web solutions.

What are we looking for?

You have 2+ years of professional work experience as a back-end developer.

You have proven experience with PHP and Laravel.

You have strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).

You have an in-depth understanding of the entire web development process (from design to development and deployment).

You are familiar with the PSR standards and API design principles.

You are familiar with the Agile and Scrum methodology.

You can proactively escalate issues that may impact scope, schedule or budget.

You are a team player with the drive and a natural curiosity to push solutions forward, focused on continuous improvements.

You have a BSc degree in Computer Science or other relevant field.

You have a Dutch visa or you’re already based in the Netherlands.
