The Operatie Z.U.I.V.E.R. app (Operation CLEAR) encourages players to clean up litter in the municipality of Hollands Kroon. Players can conquer areas in the app by identifying and recycling litter. We are happy to share the positive experience of Han van Egmond, core manager at the municipality of Hollands Kroon:

''Litter is a big annoyance for a lot of people. At the elementary school of the municipality of Hollands Kroon, children in group 6 had the solution. A game-app would contribute to the reduction of litter.

We came to DTT with a reasonably well-developed idea. The response to the idea was super enthusiastic. The game is intended to make young people aware of the litter problem.

DTT pleasantly surprised us with the development of this app, Operation Pure. The game, like Pokémon GO, can be played with Augmented Reality in public spaces. The game is educational, you can play alone, but also with groups against each other. For example, in the app you can add schools and or sports clubs to engage in competitions with each other. We think it can make a great contribution to the awareness of litter among the youth. DTT has helped us enormously with the development of the app. They think along creatively, come up with solutions and are ready to answer our questions. Together, we have expressed our intention to develop the app further.''
