A safe road network with RTRI

The Real-Time Road Inspection (RTRI) solution allows users to digitally map, register and inspect the roads of the Netherlands. The solution is deployed in road construction, but RTRI can also be used by any other motorist. So everyone can contribute to a safe road network.

RTRI consists of two platforms: a mobile app and an inspection platform. The mobile app allows users to map the condition of Dutch roads. All app users make recordings of the road during their journeys. With the push of a button, a deviation or calamity is registered and sent to the inspection platform. By means of Artificial Intelligence (AI) all license plates and faces are automatically blurred, so RTRI also fully complies with the AVG legislation. The inspection platform is used by road builders and other parties active in public space, so they can effectively and efficiently survey the area and prepare the work.
